Why On Earth Is The Pentagon Training People To Bypass Their Defences?

If you are working in a restaurant and you want to show people how to make chili, then before you show them, you are going to have to make chili yourself.

If you do not make it first, you will not be able to stop them from making mistakes.

And if you have experience already in making chili, then you can already predict the mistakes that they will make before they even attempt to try and make the meal.

This is the same principle when it comes to computer security.

To be able to show others how to protect the network, you must know the many different ways that it can be broken into.

Only then will you know all of the tricks that an outside black hat hacker would try.

And even if you do not know the direct trick, you can guess what they are trying to do by following their actions.

Government Infrastructure Is Regularly Attacked

This is the same reason why the Pentagon is teaching certain people  how to get past the security in their networks.

Everyday, there are more and more cyber attacks being set up against government entities.

These attacks are coming from different parts of the world and the people defending the equipment must be on top of their game so that they can stop them.

It is not enough that you were taught in a classroom some techniques that would ward off a hacker.

You must be able to go toe to toe with them and stop them in their tracks.

The Pentagon realizes this and they are making sure that their troops are up to speed.

Certified Ethical Hacker Certification

The courses that they are running through are known as the Certified Ethical Hacker Certification.

It is run by the EC-Council and is well known for the students that it produces.

If you want to make sure that your network security team is well trained, then these are the people that you should call.

What the Pentagon is doing is no different than what they do in other aspects of the military.

They train their soldiers from both ends of the field, so that they can make sure that they will be able to defend and predict any situation.

Overall, it is good that the Pentagon is training their soldiers to think outside of the box.

If they are not creative enough, then the bad guys on the other side will be able to beat them.
