This is a question that has been asked many, many times before.
Which is the most secure and least likely to succumb to a computer virus?
The Apple Mac :
or a Windows based machine :
What do you think?
Also, please take the time to read my new article which expands on the question of Mac vs Windows.

Are Macs inherently more secure or is it purely that they arn’t targeted as much?
Ok, so the Mac fanboys have started to have their say. Are there any Windows fans out there?
I would suggest that the difference is very small. Neither is impenetrable. The age-old remark that Macs get fewer infections because they are less widely used is probably true.
One may be better than the other, but I’d guess that it’s six of one, half a dozen of the other.
Apple Mac for the win.
D’oh what a dumb question.
Well, let me see, which one gets all the viruses?
Linux?
If the question was so dumb why did you take the time to answer?
Why do you think that Benson?
I tend to agree with that assessment Ryan and believe that Windows has more issues predominently because it is the more widely used operating system.
If the Mac were more popular then there would surely be more malware written for it wouldn’t there?
The latter is my belief Matty, though I’ll be looking into it more for another post in the next day or two.
