  2. Are Macs inherently more secure or is it purely that they arn’t targeted as much?

  3. I tend to agree with that assessment Ryan and believe that Windows has more issues predominently because it is the more widely used operating system.

    If the Mac were more popular then there would surely be more malware written for it wouldn’t there?

    I would suggest that the difference is very small. Neither is impenetrable. The age-old remark that Macs get fewer infections because they are less widely used is probably true.

    One may be better than the other, but I’d guess that it’s six of one, half a dozen of the other.
