This is NOT a hoax.
Thomas Beatie, a 34 year old American man has given birth to a healthy baby girl.
Born in Hawaii as Tracy Lagondin, Beatie began living as a man in his 20s and is now legally classed as male.
Beatie underwent gender realignment surgery but elected to keep his female reproductive organs.
Inseminated with sperm from an anonymous donor, both Mr Beatie and his daughter are reported to be doing well at a hospital in Bend, Oregon.
Girl Scout
The former model and Girl Scout had previously said, ‘I opted not to do anything with my reproductive organs because I wanted to have a child one day’.
Back in April Dr Kimberly James, Mr Beatie’s obstetrician, had told Oprah Winfrey, ‘This baby is totally healthy. This is what I consider a normal pregnancy.’

Did he/she take time to think about how their child would be treated because of this. I can just imagine how much this poor child will get picked on.
This story is so well-known now that the poor girl will not be able to escape this as they grow older. I too can only imagine what effect it will have on her.

A bit more info – Thomas Beatie is married to a 45 year old woman, Nancy, who I believe already has a couple of kids.
I can see this leading to one confused child later in life.

Presumably, as Thomas is married to a woman, the two of them will take traditional roles in the baby’s upbringing.
