There are several good ones out there that I could recommend but my favourite, because its the one I use, would be F-Secure Internet Security 2011 - http://www.f-secure.com/en_US/products/home-office/internet-security/

A one year license for 3 computers is $59.99 and well worth it in my opinion.

Of course you can always try before you buy to see which is most suitable for your setup - most security vendors offer free trials.

Peace of mind. I know what you mean. But we sure did pay a whole heck of a lot more than $60 for McAfee! Are you at liberty to suggest which program you are referring to and whether it's one you would recommend?

In that case then, if it was my business, I would probably be looking at a complete internet security suite.

For around $60 or so I think I would sleep a whole lot better than if I was relying solely upon a free antivirus program, though it has to be said that MSE is actually quite good and is certainly one of the better options out there.

(Oops. Posted my reply on a different thread in error.)

I think so. (I wish I were more tech savvy!) The two point-of-sale computers are connected to a main server and runs a software that could extract information from the internet computer. (We are looking into switching to a 100% internet based software but that mostly won’t happen for another few months and our McAfee expires this month.)

Currently we use the internet for regular stuff: e-mail access, surfing the net, research products for customers, etc.
