With any problem in life there is often more than one solution.
If you have McAfee antivirus on your PC and wish to remove it then the above statement holds true as there are in fact 3 different methods that you can employ.
1. The easiest method of removing McAfee Antivirus is to click on the Start button and then click on Control Panel.
Then click on Uninstall a program, select McAfee and then click Uninstall.
2. The second option is to use McAfee’s own product removal tool. You can download it from http://download.mcafee.com/products/licensed/cust_support_patches/MCPR.exe. Once the small file has downloaded you run it and then reboot your computer.
3. The last means of removing McAfee Antivirus from your PC is somewhat more extreme but does come from John McAfee himself.
WARNING: Before playing the video below you need to know that it is most definitely NOT safe for work.
The video seems to be a response to the number of messages John McAfee still receives from users of the products that bear his name, despite the fact that the company is now under the control of Intel. McAfee, in fact, has not been associated with the business for over 15 years and this may explain why his removal method is so radically different from the more traditional ones mentioned above.
