A new email claims to offer details on the 2009 Oscar winners some time before the results are officially announced –

As always, please treat this information with extreme care.

Actress in a Suppoting Role: Amy Adams (Doubt)
Animated Feature Film: Wall-E
Art Direction: The Dark Knight (Nathan Crowley)
Best Picture: Slumdog Millionaire
Cinematography: Slumdog Millionaire (Anthony Dod Mantle)
Costume Design: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (Jacqueline West)
Directing: Slumdog Millionaire (Danny Boyle)
Documentary Feature: Man on Wire
Documentary Short: The Conscience of Nhem En
Film Editing: Milk (Elliot Graham)
Foreign Language Film: Departures
Makeup: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (Greg Cannom)

However, it is a complete fabrication.

The hoax email, purportedly from AMPAS President Sid Ganis, cannot possibly be true as the ballots are still being counted.

Additionally, Sid Ganis does not discover the winners in advance.
