If you have paid any attention to the news recently then I am sure you are aware that Apple released a new product yesterday – the iPad.

Hackers are certainly aware of that fact.

In fact, hackers take an extremely keen interest in the news as they use breaking stories and important events to peddle their malware and fake antivirus scams.

Just recently such attacks have been associated with the fake news of Johnny Depp’s death and before that with all manner of other ‘celebrity deaths’ and major stories.

The iPad, of course, is an extremely searched term right now and so the bad guys have been utilising black hat SEO in order to direct surfers to sites that they have some level of control over.
