I’m Watching You… (TROJ_AGENT.AAPN)

They took a contract out on your life, but you were wise, you paid the assassin and got to live to see another day.

But I’m still going to get you.

This time, I have your telephone line tapped and I’m going to record everything you say, monitor who you talk to, watch you everywhere you go.

I’m part of your life now, always one step behind but never seen.

Every move you make.. every breath you take… I’ll be watching you..

Private detective

Of course this isn’t really a private detective who has been hired to track you.

In fact, it’s not even a scam designed for extortion.

It’s purpose is to get you to read the attached file which is supposedly a record of a telephone conversation.

In reality, it is a nasty piece of malware known as TROJ_AGENT.AAPN that you really wouldn’t want to have on your system.

If you receive the email above then don’t panic and don’t open the attachment.

Just delete it.

  1. That sounds like the sort of email my ex husband would send.

  2. “my name is not important now” made me laugh!
I know better now than to open suspicious emails with attachments!
