If you have too much time on your hands, like I have right now, then you may be looking for a little distraction. If so, the V-Ray challenge from Symantec may be just what you are looking for. Its one of those catchy little games that hooks you in with it’s simplicity whilst undoubtedly helping the company with their marketing efforts for their virtual backup solution.

If you want to try ‘shooting’ the disks, data, apps and files whilst avoiding the disk failures, firewalls and malware then head over to https://www.emea.symantec.com/vraygame/ and give it a go.
It can be quite addictive and it isn’t as easy as it looks. It also has a cool bit of audio too – my kids heard it from a distance and thought I was playing Deus Ex : Human Revolution again! If you happen to get onto the leaderboard then feel free to come back and boast via the comment section below. Just don’t boast too much because my own score was so embarrassingly low that there is no way I’m going to publish it!!

Nice. Glad you liked the game. It is both fun but also useful in showing some of what differentiates our virtual backup technology vs. the competition. V-Ray can see inside of the VMDK or VHD files which us do better backup than traditional solutions for backup of VMware or Hyper-V.
Cheers,
