Algerian Anonymous Operative Charaf Anons Takes Out 72 Government Web Sites

Charaf Anons, of the hacker group Anonymous Algeria, has taken down some 72 web sites today. The majority of those sites – 51 of them – belong to the Chinese government. The remainder are government web sites which belong to other nations such as Iran, South Korea, Taiwan and Mexico.

All of the hacked sites were left defaced, as per the image above. No more information was given on the sites themselves but CharafAnons has a Twitter account which has updates on it which suggests it is highly likely to be related to China –
